FAMILY GROUP: Group of Four: 1914-15 Star; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19; Somme Medal. 1412 Pte. A. Wilson 15/Bn. A.I.F. on first medal, same on second and third medal except rank is Cpl., Cpl A. Wilson on fourth medal. First three medals impressed, last medal is engraved. Single: India Mutiny Medal, N.Wilson engraved under bust in running script. N. Wilson, 34th Regt. Impressed. Porous damaged cast-like surface although impressed naming appears genuine. Very fine.
Arthur Wilson Enl.03Feb1915, promoted Corporal 05Apr1916, WIA France 08Aug1916 GSW right leg, Disch.12Apr1919. Together with ANZAC Commemorative Medallion 1967 (holed at centre below crown) and matching lapel badge, both engraved, A.Wilson; a set of nickel-silver spurs impressed 12 AASC; RSL Badge (KC) numbered Q55106; TPI tinnie.
