MASONIC HANDCRAFTED FOB, in gold (11.8gms, 25mm) c1910, ring top suspension, reverse inscribed "Electrical Dept/Frigorifico Montevideo/H.F. Tranbarger/to/E.R. Ransom". Very fine.

The Frigorifico is a meat processing plant in Montevideo, Uruguay referred to in days gone by as the "worlds kitchen". Ransom was an Australian engineer who went there to work for a year in the early part of last century. The Frigorifico was so large that a branch of the Masons apparently operated within the works.
