SYDNEY FERRIES LTD, passes, all oval shaped, all pierced at top for loop suspension, all with impressed serial number and all silver-plated brass except the last which is gilt brass, obverse, S.F.Ltd at top and North Shore at bottom; type 1, obverse, number 3 inside voided centre diamond, reverse number 483 at base; type 2, obverse, number 3 over L inside voided centre diamond, reverse, number 170 at base; type 3, obverse, number 4 inside voided centre diamond, reverse, number 1300 at base; type 4, obverse, number 4 over L inside voided centre diamond, reverse, number 919 at base; type 5, obverse, number 4 inside solid centre diamond with the letter A voided facing horizontally, reverse, the number 98 at the base, (Seckold 720BM, 720BN, 720BO, 720BQ, 720BP). Very fine - extremely fine and all scarce. (5)
