GALBA (A.D.68-9) aureus (7.138 grams), Rome Mint, obv. laureate head to right of Galba, around IMP SER GALBA CAESAR AVG, rev. around DIVA AVGVSTA, Livia standing left, holding patera and sceptre, (cf.S.2091, RIC 223, C.57). Struck slightly off-centre, some surface roughness suggesting jewellery use, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.
