ITALY, Bruttium, Croton (Kroton), (370-350 B.C.), silver stater, (7.698 grams), obv. head of Hera Lacinia to facing slightly to right, rev. naked Heracles seated to left on rock, covered with lion skin, holds cup in extended right hand and club in left hand, around **[KRO T]WNI ATAN, (cf.S.474; SNG ANS 371 [same dies], Gale 56 [same dies], SNG Lloyd 616 [same dies]). Light grey tone, very fine and rare.
