HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 123, (3.064 grams), obv. laureate head of Hadrian to right, drapery on right shoulder, around IMP CAESAR TRAIAN H ADRIANVS AVG, rev. around P M TR P COS III, Roma seated to left on cuirass, holding Victory and spear, (cf.S.3519, RIC 78, RSC 1099). Nearly extremely fine and scarce.
