GROUP OF FIVE: Distinguished Flying Cross (GVIR) first type (GRI); 1939-45 Star; France and Germany Star; War Medal 1939-45; Defence Medal 1939-45. 191091 / F.O. L. Knight / Immediate / Award / Berchtesgaden / 25th / April / 1945 engraved on the first medal, the other four medals unnamed. Very fine, the first in Royal Mint case of issue.

LG 26/6/1945, Citation: Together with identity disc for L Knight / Offr / C.E. / 191091 / R.A.F.V.R.; cloth wings for RAF; medal letter from Buckingham Palace to Flying Officer Leonard Knight, D.F.C. and four tunic buttons.
