RUSSIA, small watercolour of a Russian boyar by Konstantin Juon, circa 1930, (27cm x 16cm).

Konstantin Juon, born Moscow 1875, noted Russian painter and theatre designer, co-founder of Union of Russian Artists and Associated Union of Russian Artists of Revolutionary Russia, taught at Leningrad Academy of Artists, awarded Stalin Prize 1943, awarded Order of Lenin, died Moscow 1958.
