THE ROYAL HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY, Banksian medal, in bronze (38mm) by W.Wyon (faint traces) (BHM.1041 var; Eimer 138 var) reverse inscribed "Jersey/to/Mr Ponds/for a Group of Varigated Zonales/1879". Hairline die break along truncation to rim, bronzed chocolate brown patina, red uncirculated and rare use of the original obverse die.
