IRELAND, Henry VII, (1485-1509), silver groat, "three crowns coinage", early issue c.1485-1487, no mint name (Dublin) mint, obv. traces of REX ANGLIE FRA around shield of the arms of England, rev. three crowns, etc., (S.6421). Light attractive tone, nearly a full flan, very fine, rare.

Ex B.A. Seaby Ltd, London, with their 1959 ticket in the name of Edward IV (which was originally believed to be struck in that reign but today believed to be commencing in the reign of Richard III).
