THE COLONIAL BANK OF NEW ZEALAND, second issue, one pound, Dunedin, 1st March 1891, S/Z 339596, imprint of Bradbury Wilkinson & Co, engravers, London (Robb.G.22; L.558; P.S267e). Folds, some foxing bottom edge, otherwise fine and very rare.
Ex Brian Bolton Collection, Sale 85 (lot 3745). This is only the second note of this type known to be in private hands. The other example having been sold by us in 1977 (Spink Australia sale 1 [lot 270] and V.B. Short Collection).
