CONSTANTINE VII, (913-959) with Romanus II, (945-959), gold solidus, Constantinople mint, issued 945-959, (4.44 grams), obv. Christ enthroned facing wears nimbus, in hand the Gospels, rev. Constantine VII on left wearing loros and Romanus II on right wearing chlamys, both busts facing each wearing crown and holding patriarchal cross between, (S.1751, DOC 15). Good very fine and scarce.
