MACEDON, Kingdom of, Philip III, (323-316 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.09 grams), Cyprus, at Salamis mint, issued c.323-317 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right wearing lion skin, dotted border, rev. Zeus seated on throne to left, eagle in outstretched hand, rudder to left, to right **FILIPPOU [BASILEWS]*, dotted border, (cf.S.6749, Price P129 [p.393, Pl.CXVI], BMC P129a-c, M.P80). Banker's mark under eye, otherwise good fine.
