Apollo in quadriga to right, M.BAEB[I.Q.F] in exergue, below ROMA, (S.113, Cr.236/1a, Syd.489, RSC Baebia 12); L. Caecilius Metellus, (c.96 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.89 grams), obv. Apollo head to right, L.METEL behind, A.ALB.S.F. before, rev. Roma seated to left on shields, Victory stands behind crowning her, C.MALL on left, ROMA in exergue, (S.220, Cr.335/1ab, Syd.611, RSC Caecilia 45a). Nearly very fine, last with obverse scratch. (2)
