MN. FONTEIUS C.F., (85 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.812 grams), obv. Vejovis laureate head to right, MN FONTEI C F behind, ROMA monogram before, thunderbolt below, rev. infant winged Genius seated on goat; below, caps of dioscuri; above, thyrsus below, all within laurel wreath, (S.271 [?55 VF], Cr.353/1a, Syd.724, RSC Fonteia 9). Well centred, banker's mark on obverse, very fine.
