C. PISO L.F. Frugi, (c.67 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.86 grams), obv. Apollo head to right with fillet, **S.* behind, rev. C. PISO L.F. FRV. across, below naked horseman with palm, galloping to right, J below, (S.348 [?150 EF], Cr.408/1, Syd.847, RSC Calpurnia 24aa). Brilliant, as struck good extremely fine/uncirculated and very rare in this condition.
