Pietas standing to left dropping incense on lighted altar and holding box, around PIETA S AVG, (S.4598, BMC 311, RIC 394a, RSC 234); Lucius Verus, (A.D. 161-169), silver denarius, issued 162, Rome mint, (3.04 grams), obv. IMP L AVREL VERVS AVG, bare head to right, rev. Providentia standing to left, holding globe and cornucopiae, around PROV DEOR TR P COS II, (cf.S.5354, RIC 463, RSC 144, BMC 35). Very fine or better, first lightly toned. (2)
