SEVERUS ALEXANDER, (A.D.222-235), silver denarius, issued 222, Rome mint, (3.22 grams), obv. laureate bust to right, draped and cuirassed, around IMP SEV ALEXAND AVG, rev. P M TR P COS, Fortuna standing to left, holding rudder on globe and cornucopiae, star in field, (cf.S.7892, RIC 263, RSC 201 bis). Small, brilliant with attractive reverse, good extremely fine.
