TRIO: 1914-15 Star; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19. 6319 Dvr W.J.Chandler. 4/F.A.Bde. A.I.F. on first medal, second and third medals the same except unit recorded as 4 F.A.B.. All medals impressed. Court mounted, nearly extremely fine.
Dvr William James Chandler, Enl.29Apr1915 number 1159, missed embarkation and sent to Seymour for trial by court martial, Enl. (2nd time) 09Sep1915 number 6319, Emb.18Nov1915, refuse to obey order in the field, charged 11Jun1916, AWOL in the field, charged 18Sep1916, RTA 05Jul1919, disobeyed order, charged 07Feb1919.
