CHINA, Empire, Yunnan Province, five-stamped remittance ingot, as a silver sycee, ten taels or 11 ounce double axe shape or saddle type, of five blocks of stamps and two central circular stamps, c.1880-1900, (350 grams), 77mmx 53mm (at ends) and 32mm in middle, (Cribb -). Fine with dirt and hoard patination, a very rare shape.
