THE PROVINCIAL AND SUBURBAN BANK LIMITED, five pounds, issued at Melbourne, no.08733 dated June 12th 1894, signed I.B.Anderson, consecutive no.08734 dated May 14th 1893, signed A.B.Mansfield, no.08795 dated June 3 1894, signed I.B.Anderson, all dates and signatures well aged and appear to be contemporary but spurious as bank failed in 1879. All notes with rust spots, the second note more so affected, all notes heavily creased and with tattered edges and the last two notes with some small holes, poor - good. (3)
