EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy VI, (180-145 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, issued 180-170 B.C., (13.88 grams), Alexandria mint, obv. diademed head of Ptolemy I to right, with aegis, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU*, (S.7895 [?125], Sv. 1489, SNG Cop. 262-8, Pitchfork 71). Flan crack across a third of the coin, otherwise good very fine.
