ANTONINUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), AE sestertius, (22.39 grams), Rome mint, issued A.D. 139, obv. laureate head of Antoninus Pius to right, around ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P, rev. Pax standing to left, holding a branch and cornucopiae, around TR POT COS II, S C across field, (cf.S.4238, RIC 547, C.856). Even dark brown patina, nearly very fine and very scarce.
