MICHAEL I AND THEOPHYLACTUS, (811-813), AE follis, (2.93 grams), struck at Syracuse mint, obv. facing bust of Michael with short beard with crown and loros and holding cross potent to left [M] to right IXA, rev. facing bust of Theophylactus wearing crown and chlamys holding cross on globe around **[QEO]F*V, (S.1625, DOC 10, BMC 12, Spahr 362). Missing most of ethnic as are almost all examples, otherwise good very fine and rare.
