CAPTAIN COOK MEMORABILIA, watermarked paper from models prepared by T.H. Saunders & Co., London (21 x 22.5cm) depicting Captain Dampier 1686 and Captain James Cook 1770 as discoverers of Australia. Framed and double glazed, very fine and important.

This paper was prepared for the Sydney International Exhibition of 1879 and was awarded a gold medal. It was exhibited at the Melbourne exhibition of 1880 and was awarded the silver medal.
