FRANCE, General Lafayette, copper medal 47mm, by Francois Augustin Caunois, to commemorate him as the defender of American and French Liberty, 1777-1824, struck in 1768, obv. General Lafayette to right, rev. inscription in wreath. Extremely fine, several edge knocks and rare.
