C.G.: No.67 3Jun1919. 'Lt. E.L.Hall, 19th Btn. His company commander having been wounded in the early stages of the attack on Mont St Quentin, near Peronne, on the 31st August 1918, he took command, and with remarkable courage and skill led the company to the objective.
