GAUL, Celtic issues of the Aedui (or Lingones) Kaletedou series, 1st century B.C., silver quinarii, (1.86, 1.20, 1.93 [illustrated], 1.78, 1.77, 1.87 grams). obv. helmeted head of Roma to left, rev. horse stepping to left, traces of KA**LETEDOUS* V A, wheel with four spokes below (2), third with inverted **D* [illustrated] (2), (CCCBM II 291, 326 (2), cf.371, others uncertain variant; de la Tour 3248, 8178). Toned, second with reverse struck twice, fine - very fine. (7)
