Poseidon Hippios on horse standing right, holding trident and reins, **PO* below, rev. incuse square containing archaic head of Amazon to right, wearing pointed fox-skin cap. (S.1283 [ú250], SNG Cop. 313-4 [Pl.8], BMC 2 (p.100), SNG ANS 693-5 [Pl.26 same dies], Price 23 [p.41, Pl.V, 23], D.Alexander "Potidaea" (Robinson Studies) type 1b, 2). Nearly very fine and very rare.
