THRACE, Kingdom of, Lysimachos, (323-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.96 grams), Lampsacus mint, issued 297-281 B.C., obv. head of Alexander to right, with diadem and horn of Ammon, within dotted circle, rev. Athena enthroned to left, supporting Nike, spear behind, to far left a herm, inner left field monogram of **DX*, to left **BASILEWS* to right **LUSIMACOU*, (cf.S.6814, Thompson 50, M.91). Very fine and scarce.
