ATTICA, Athens, (300-262 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.50 grams), obv. head of Athena to right wearing ivy crested helmet, eye in profile, rev. owl standing to right, head facing, in erect posture, olive twig and crescent behind, to right, **AQE, all in part of an incuse square, (S.2547, Kraay (Coins of Ancient Athens) Pl. IV, 6, SNG Cop. 65). Tight well centred flan, banker's mark on cheek, some dirt adhesion, otherwise nearly very fine.
