ATTICA, Athens, (42/1-39 B.C.), AE 18, (6.908 grams), obv. head of Athena Parthenos to right, wearing crested helmet, rev. tripod A **QE* across, to left a poppy, to right a thunderbolt, (S.2568, BMC 566-567, SNG Cop. 300, Kroll, Athenian Agora type 138). Attractive patination, very fine and a rare type.
