IONIA, Ephesus, (c.108-107 B.C.), silver cistophoric tetradrachm, (12.57 grams), year **L* = 30 = 105-4 B.C., obv. cista mystica containing serpent, all within ivy wreath, rev. bow in case between two coiled serpents, to left **L* over **EFE, to right upright torch, bunch of grapes between serpents, (cf.S.4394, Kleiner 34 [ANS MN 18, McClean 8094, Pinder -). Off centred obverse, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.
