Jupiter in quadriga to right, M.CARBO below, ROMA in exergue, (S.151, Cr.276/1, Syd.423) (illustrated); P. Furius Crassipes, (c.84 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.960 grams), obv. turreted head of the City to right, AED CVR and deformed foot downwards behind, rev. P.FOVRIVS on curule chair, CRASSIPES in exergue, (S.275 [ú55 VF], Cr.356/1c, Syd.735, B.Furia 19). Die flaw as a gouge on reverse for the last coin, otherwise very fine or better. (3)
