SEPTIMIUS SEVERUS, (A.D. 193-211), silver denarius, Emesa mint, issued A.D. 194, (3.20 grams), obv. laureate head of Septimius Severus to right, around [IMP CAE L SEP SEV] PERT AVG COS II, rev. around FELICIT TEMPOR, corn-ear between two crossed cornucopiae, (cf.S.6274, RIC 373, RSC 142b). Good very fine and very scarce.

Ex Marc Melcher Collection. 15 examples in Reka Devnia Hoard, which contained 7256 Septimius Severus denarii.
