AUSTRALIAN COMFORTS FUND, (NSW Division), Certficate of Adoption, (202mm x 254mm), register no.413, awarded to Miss D.Evans for her subscription to provide comforts and amenities for one member of the Australian Fighting Forces, dated 16th June 1943, signed by the President, The Lord Mayor of Sydney, printed in red, white and blue with ACF badge image; five page letter from NX19213 L/Sgt H.W.Marks, 12 Bty, 2/6 Fd Regt RAA, AIF, dated 27th Aug '45 on ACF & YMCA combined letterhead in Salvation Army envelope with censor stamp; unused transfer bearing red cross and message, 'This House / Helps to Support / An Australian / Prisoner of War'; green sixpence War Savings Stamps folder completed with 32 stamps attached; another different style, black outer printing, orange interior, with three sixpence stamps attached. Very fine. (5)
