CHARLES I, (1625 - 1649), Tower mint under king, silver crown, mm cross calvary, issued 1625-6, Group I, type 1a, (29.75 grams), rev. harp with bird’s head, (S.2753, N.2190, Cooper VII/VII). Toned, round and attractive, nearly very fine and very scarce.
