ROYAL SOCIETY OF ARTS, undated, in silver (57mm) (115gms), obverse, bust of Prince Philip left, at top ’Prince Philip . President’, below ’MCMLII’, reverse, Royal Society building, above ’Royal Society of Arts’ at sides ’17/54’, edge engraved, ’Thomas Gray Memorial Trust. To Walter Edwin Alfred Carver, For Highest Marks In The 1965 Examinations For The Extra - Master’s Certificate’; another identical but silver plated bronze, edge engraved, ’Thomas Gray Memorial Trust. Merchant Navy Training Board Examinations 1955. Awarded To W.E.A.Carver.’ Both cased, the first with ’John Pinches / London’ inside the lid, the second medal with some plate missing, the first with matte finish, extremely fine - uncirculated. (2)
