CHINA, Shanghai, Hall and Holtz, bread token, nickel (33.5mm), one loaf, circular central hole has been punched square and an incuse letter "N" stamped below (Pr.328). Very fine and rare.
Issued by J. Neil who acquired the business in 1925 and stamped the tokens with an "N" to distinguish them from the previous issues which Hall and Holtz were still responsible for.
