L/FX 75114); 1939-45 Star; Atlantic Star; Pacific Star; Defence Medal; British War Medal 1939-45; Coronation Medal 1953; Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (GVIR) with bar for second award (FX.75114 A.Bennett. L. Sto. H.M.S. Sussex.). Distinguished Service Medal, British Empire Medal and Long Service and Good Conduct Medal named, impressed, others unnamed. Very fine.

DSM: London Gazette 28 August 1942. 'For bravery and enterprise while serving in HMS Illustrious during the successful operations (Operation IRONCLAD), which led to the surrender of the important base of Diego Suarez.'

BEM: London Gazette 9 June 1949. 'On the occasion of The Celebration of His Majesty's birthday.'
