OPEN FACE POCKET WATCH, in .800 silver with gold plating (worn), white dial, Roman numerals, seconds watch, case stamped ’Golonne #363097’, marked FDEAL inside wreath and below jeweller’s name at Lutgendortmund, inside engraved, ’Feldwebel Wennemann / Fedpost Nr. / 18596E’ (Sergeant Wennemann / Field post No. / 18596E), taken from a German soldier by an Australian soldier during WWI. In working order, fine.
