GEORGE III, Resolution and Adventure Medal, 1772, in gilt platina or brass (44mm) struck from the first reverse die with die break, by B.F. (on truncation) (Matthew Boulton) (M.H.373; BHM 165; Klenman 1). Struck with normal die rotation (en medaille) with replacement ring suspension, the gilding probably later, nearly very fine and rare.
