ENGRAVED CONVICT LOVE TOKEN, (on a cartwheel penny?) "Father and Mother/when/this you see/think of me till/I get my liberty/Wm Bailey/July 3. 1822", reverse national flowers of England, Scotland and Ireland. Very fine and rare.
William Bailey, born 1822, transported to Sydney aboard the Royal Sovereign in 1835, received his freedom in 1843, sold with some research.
