CHARLES II, second bust, silver crown, 1666, edge dated XVIII, Type G, elephant below bust, 8 strings in harp, (S.3356, ESC 33 [R]). Lightly toned, nearly fine and rare.

Dated the year of the Great Fire of London. The elephant below is a reference to the African (Guinea) Co which had this symbol as its badge and the silver for the coinage coming from this company.
