CHINA, Western Zhou (Chou) Dynasty, State of Qi, round cash with square hole (350 - 300 B.C.), Pre-Qin type (Qi united China in 221 B.C.) "Ban Liang" (half ounce), two long characters either side, diameter 32 mm, (Hartill 7.5, Sch. 83, TFP 415, Pl.48]; others Western Han Dynasty Type, (175-119 B.C.), similar smaller diameter 23-30 mm as varieties (Hartill 7.16, 7.17, 7.29, etc. Sch. 92, 102, 104, 105, 107, 108, TFP 421-2, 433 etc.).
