FRANCE, Louis XIV, (1643-1715), silver half ecu, 1662, 9 = Rennes mint, rose type, obv. laureate bust of Louis XIV to right, rev. crowned shield, (KM.202.16, Gad.174). With attractive grey and gold tone with traces of mint bloom, nearly extremely fine and very scarce in this condition.
