FRANCE, aviation related medals, early flights commemorated, Icarus by Scarpa (octagonal) in silver (32mm)(cased); Montgolfier by N. Gatteaux, in bronze (41mm); two others similar dated 1783, 1784 but later Paris mint strikings; an issue dated 1920 in bronze (50mm); another in bronze (50mm), with hot air and gas balloons, dated 1783 but 20th century striking. Extremely fine. (6)
