Private Reginald Hobart Manson, age 23, labourer, born Hobart, Tasmania; previous service with Cadets, two years; Enl.07Feb1916; Emb.01Jul1916; 31Oct1916 wounded accidentally at a Lewis Gun Instruction Course at France, GSW thigh, Court of Inquiry found no blame attached to Pte Manson or L/Cpl Warren who shot him; 23Nov1916 leg amputated at thigh; RTA 16Jul1917; Disch.16Oct1917; Died 06Dec1957.
