WAR RELATED, mostly, includes WWI envelopes (2) addressed to Private E Tindall returned by Dead Letter Office and marked Deceased 25/9/18; WWI pay envelope 1917; The Times India Supplement Nov 5, 1918 detailing conditions 1-24 of Armistice with Turkey; Commonwealth of Australia, NSW petrol ration coupon for one gallon, 31/7/49; War Ration Book Four (USA) WWII with several unused coupons; ACF, AMF censor stamp on envelope WWI; Ocean Times, North Atlantic Edition, R.M.S."Queen Mary", September 1, 1939 contains news relating to Germany and its move into Poland and other war related items; various other items including postcards, some Australian WWI types; letter from London dated 16th April, 1857 purported to be to Capt William Parsons in Australia; a small, framed, circular print of Pitt St, Sydney c.1853 and an old ink dip pen and a crocheting needle with ivory handle. Stored in an old attachee case with impressed name 'A.Marnoch', poor - very fine. (lot)
