ITALY, Calabria, Tarentum (Taras), (3rd century B.C., 281-272 Ravel), silver drachm, (3.25 grams), obv. head of Athena wearing crested helmet ornamented with Skylla to left, rev. owl with open wings standing to right on thunderbolt, **DI* below, TAPA**S* upper left, **SW* upwards on lower right, (cf.S.367, Vl.1074). Toned, very fine.
